Charlie Tuttle : Lead Pastor
Charlie grew up in Colorado and loves spending time in the mountains. He enjoys cars, golf, working out and being with friends. The Tuttle’s have led Genesis Church since June 2002. Charlie is a graduate of Central Bible College (currently known as Evangel University) in Springfield, Mo. Charlie graduated with a Bachelor degree in Biblical Studies. He is also a published author, corporate trainer and international speaker.
Sherri Tuttle: Co-Pastor
Sherri grew up close to the Missouri Ozarks and she loves southern simplicity. She loves country living, long drives and spending time with her children. She is a college graduate with a degree in early childhood education. Sherri directs and coaches the worship ministry of Genesis. She also hosts seasonal events for the women at Genesis. Her goal is to coach women into strength, wisdom, empowerment and legacy. As an ovarian cancer survivor, Sherri is determined not to allow life circumstances to dictate her response to God-opportunities.
Lucas Levet: Student Ministry Pastor
Born in south Louisiana, Lucas is a Cajun-boy at heart. Lucas has been involved in student ministry since 2006 as a student, a leader and a pastor. He has a passion to see this generation impacted by Jesus Christ. Lucas met his beautiful wife Shawna on a missions trip to El Salvador in 2011. They both love hanging out with students, fishing, enjoying the outdoors, and anything related football. Lucas is a giant kid at heart! His most treasured love other than Shawna is their beautiful baby girl, Ellie Kate.
Devin & Ashley Peterson: Gen Kids Pastors
Devin and Ashley are somewhat new to Genesis but not to children’s ministry. Combined they have close to 14 years experience ministering to children. Devin and Ashley have a huge passion to see children accept Jesus and grow in their spiritual formation. Both Devin and Ashley are actively finishing their degrees; Devin is completing his master’s degree and Ashley is completely her undergraduate degree in childhood education.

Nancy Eberhardt: Assistant to Charlie Tuttle
Nancy is the mother of three handsome sons. She met her husband and best friend Christian while they were both serving on active duty in the US Coast Guard. Born and raised in sunny Carlsbad, California, she spent most of her time at the beach or working as a lifeguard. You can usually find her family out exploring McKinney at the local parks or at the pool soaking up the sunshine!
Weston Tuttle: Business & Finance Coordinator
Weston is pursuing a degree in International Business at University of Texas, Dallas. He also handles much of the business matters relating to Genesis. Weston has a passion for ministry and a gift for finance. He ultimately desires to share Christ on an international platform through market place ministry. Weston is also an accomplished musician, has a great sense of adventure, loves traveling and spending time with his friends.
Payton Tuttle: Media Editor
Payton has been involved at Genesis for over fifteen years. Currently, he is enrolled at Collin College finishing his Associate’s degree. He is planning on attending the University of North Texas for graduate degree in media. Payton is ultimately pursuing a path to become a pastor. When not in class or working at Genesis, he often paints, plays piano, or simply hangs out with friends!
Nichole Fulton: GenKids Jr Coordinator
Nichole and her husband, Justin, are Colorado natives recently transplanted to McKinney due to Justin’s technology career. Nichole is an active mom of three great children, Emily, Tanner and Peyton. Nichole understands the demands of being a modern mom with a busy household. It’s with wisdom and perspective, she leads the infant through Pre-K ministry at Genesis. She is experienced, likeable and flexible. Nichole see’s GenKids Jr as an area of ministry, not as an area of childcare. Nichole always brings her best to the joys and challenges of shaping young lives at GenKids Jr.
Makenzie Sprouse: Receptionist & Embrace Grace Coordinator
Born and raised in Mckinney, Makenzie grew up around her grandparent’s ministry. Since her early years, Makenzie has had a passion for helping people. Makenzie and her family have attended Genesis since 2003. After experiencing an unplanned pregnancy, Makenzie felt called to begin an Embrace Grace group at Genesis in 2016. The purpose of Embrace Grace is to support and encourage unwed women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy through the love of Jesus Christ.
Connor Davis: Media Department
Connor has been attending Genesis Church since 2006. His passion for learning technology and media at Genesis has enabled Connor to discover and develop his career path. As a key contributor to Genesis media and its online ministry, Connor is now pursuing a degree in radio, TV and film. Connor is the man behind the scene, using his passion for media to produce Genesis livestream services and videos on a weekly basis.
